Strategy When Facing Opposition

I was honored when Co-pastor Linda Roark asked me to write the forward to this book; after all in my book, Your Life Follows Your Words I shared the necessities of speaking and thinking the word of God. Strategies in the Face of Opposition not only address the importance of power, persistence, and perseverance; but it gives spiritual insight for every day successes through the practical application of spiritual Warfare. While on this spiritual journey it's important to know and understand the motives, tactics and devices of your adversary, the devil. Each and everyone of us have a personal, emotional, physical, psychological and social enemy that has been unleashed with a single purpose of trying to destroy our God appointed destiny. Although Christ has completed the work on calvary, we must walk out our salvation! In this book Linda Roark provides guidance on the various aspects of spiritual Warfare by elaborating on what it is, the strategies and the benefits resulting from exercising your God given authority. If you are in battle  or know of someone that's in a battle, you'll appreciate this book for the profound insight on your God- given arsenal. When the enemy has made a plan of attack against us, we must anticipate him by delivering our own attack first through daily prayer, praise and professing the word of God. Stop Going Back to Nothing

Stop going back to nothing is for people who are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Is that you? Do you take two steps forward and get knocked back ten? Well the devil is a liar, it is time to move forward.

Philippians 3:13 declares, "Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before." When the Lord spoke to Moses in Exodus 14:15 he said, "speak unto the children of Isreal, that they go forward." This is your season of release, NO MORE ARE YOU A VICTIM YOU ARE A VICTOR!

Thriving in Challenging Times

There are some messages that are considered instructional, some encouraging, and many that would be described as inspirational, but then there are still others that will challenge you making you a bit uncomfortable as the word is getting to the root of things in your life that might be delaying what God wants for your life.

One thing I found out is goals give you the grace to keep moving and to keep reaching during challenging times.

He Knows Where You Are

One thing God knows where you are. It was the Psalmist David that said, "Thou will show me the path of life and in they presence there is fullness of joy." What David was declaring is, if you want to know the path of life, the purpose of life, then we must access the presence of God.

Real brokeness causes real worship, and real worship gives you real access. After you tap in you'll no longer be content where you are. He knows where you are!

Say It Like You Mean It!

With one word God spoke the galaxies and the worlds into existence. By His spoken word he flung the stars into orbit, hung the sun and the moon, set the earth spinning on it's axis, and commanded the ocean not to spill a drop of water.

In this series, Say It Like You Mean It, I will show you that when you speak the word out of faith it has power to be the moment it is spoken.

It's in the Sound of Your Praise!

And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments...

It's in the sound of your praise! When your praise becomes like a battering ram against the strongholds of the enemy you will put to flight the demon powers of hell.

When there was a battle in the days of Joshua, there was a certain instrument they would use called a Rams Horn. The Rams Horn was used to make a distinguished sound for whatever purpose was needed. Whether it was for taking the walls of Jericho, for the day of Atonement, the day of Jubilee, a temple dedication, or the ark of the covenant being returned to its place. It was the sound that made the difference whether or not it was made for war or for celebration.

Whatever you need God to do, it is in the sound of your praises! "FOR THE LORD MADE THEM REJOICE OVER THEIR ENEMIES."

In It to Win It!

It's possible to be standing right in the middle of where you should be but yet from time to time not knowing why you are even there. One thing this message will show you is that this is not confusion but this is transition.

When you are a person of transition you understand that you can't fall in love where you are, because where you are today you might not be there tomorrow.

One thing you have to know is that transition takes you from one place to another. I know it's not comfortable but it's needed. This is where you make up in your mind I'm in it to win it!

The Voice of Your Seed

Your faith will never rise above your confession. Hebrews 10:23 "Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering, for He is faithful that promised." We as the body of Christ are to seize and hold fast and retain the word of God for He who promised is reliable, sure, and faithful to His word.

The word has power to create the moment it is spoken. If you want to change what you are reaping then change what you are speaking.

It's Yours For the Taking

Whatever you do don't get distracted because when you're right at the verge of your greatest victory the enemy comes to bring warfare. Warfare always surrounds you right at the door of your deliverance. It surrounded Moses, It surrounded Joshua at the walls of Jericho. But this is it. it's the opposition that clearly states to you God is working on your behalf. You shall laugh again, you shall sing again. Weeping only endures for the night but joy cometh in the morning. Your deliverance has come, It's yours for the taking!
